The trail winds through six km of vineyard, linking the two homes of the Vine and Wine Museum, in Sierre and Salgesch.
It wanders through the areas where grape-growers live, cuts across the vineyards and the Raspille rock formations. The educational trail has 80 panels that explain every aspect of vineyard life.
Visitors can take advantage of as much or as little of this information as they like, and observe for themselves the life of the vineyards. Open all year, with picnic spots and benches.
Hiking time: 2 hours 30 minutes. Return journey by train.
