The Heida Trail is a unique trek through Europe’s highest vineyard! 40 panels along the trail are providing information on Visperterminen history and viniculture. The first part of the hike leads through the historic part of Visp to Bächji with breathtaking views to the vineyards. From Bächji the way continues to Unterstalden, where hikers can visit the St. Jodern Cellars for wine tasting. The trail then leads directly through the vineyards to reach the highest vines. The final part leads from Oberstalden to the village.
