]]> As the owner of 50 hectares of vineyards in the heart of the renowned Sion wine region, Maison Gilliard stands for tradition, the striving for excellence and the faithful reproduction of the character of the Valais terroir. The legendary wines Dôle des Monts and Fendant Les Murettes have confirmed the excellent reputation of Gilliard since 1885. Over the course of time, the range has been extended, most notably with Les Tonneliers and Les Grands Murs, with the aim of showcasing the particular quality of individual areas and the diversity of the distinct varieties. Stored, aged and bottled on the premises, Gilliard wines capture the soul of Valais. The vineyards form a mosaic of terraces constructed in what was once a wild, hostile environment, now tamed by the hand of man. The Clos de Cochetta is a particularly beautiful example of this. This unique vineyard is nestled between drystone walls of up to 20 metres in height. A secret tunnel takes you up to a terrace where you can enjoy a relaxed meal with friends in the vicinity of these distinguished wines.

It is this conviction that led to the creation of our Dame de Sion, Hurlevent, Collection F and Favi wines, which skilfully marry the diversity and complexity of the Valais grape varieties.
